The big deal around our house for the weekend of 5/20 was Logan's Baptism on that Sunday. His godparents are his beloved Aunt Laura and Uncle Matt. There were 4 kids baptized that day at St. Leo's and by far, Logan's family and friends were the largest group. We had travelers from CA, AZ, GA, PA, & NJ. We loved & appreciated the turnout and had a fun time celebrating later in Tysons Corner after the ceremony. Logan promptly took a nap after the priest poured water on his head (he might have gotten faked out that it was bathtime and then bedtime.)
While it was a wonderful day and visit with friends & family, BOY... did I feel that I just finished a semester of school & exams were over when it was all over. Happily, I could then really enjoy the remainder of our weekend with family from GA- Laura, Patrick, my most handsome & smiley nephew Noah (he's here in the picture with Logan), my parents and dear friend Julie Lanza. Logan and I took the day off on Monday 5/22 from daycare and work, respectively, and spent the day with his Grandmom and Grandpop Tobin.
First picture here is the May 17th dress rehearsal w/Logan's baptism outfit (a seer-sucker suit complete with jacket, dress shirt and pants- he looked SMASHING), being held for the water pouring, and then the picture with cousin Noah.
