Moving into week 8...

as in, completion of week 7 is now behind us. The days & weeks are moving very fast- too fast! We move quickly into Thanksgiving & travel plans to GA. Logan continues to do great and behaves very lovingly to his brother. Austin gets heavier every day and is starting to smile (on purpose) which we just love. He's a bit more vocal about his wants/needs than before, which [developmentally] is great. The toll it takes on my ears and every-now-and-again headache is not so great. But whatever. He's generally still chill.

A. is now sleeping less during the day (though not fun with regards to my ambitious daily"to do" lists) and more during the night. Nothing bad about that part!

For his 1 month visit's weight on 10/27, he was 12 lbs, 4 oz. Which is gain of 3 lbs since leaving the hospital, and puts him in 97% for weight. GEEZ. Height and head circumference are still on the same trajectories, about 90%. He suffers from terrible gas (buildup in belly & associated odor) so I'm on the quest to figure out what in my diet is doing this to him and making him so fat. I probably don't have to look too far for that 2nd part :) Now I can start working out and I'm cooking dinner each night, or trying, so things can turn around with a more watchful eye for both of us, I hope.

Here are Halloween pictures. Logan was a lion (from the waist up)- had a great time at school for fall festival and their parade, trick or treating, and participating in the neighborhood parade. Austin was just in a cutesy "1st halloween" onesie and hat, and Chris dressed up, too- the Burger King dude in final picture here. I'll get into my idea for a potential (though not used) Halloween costume later.
