Are you kidding me? 90 days is long ago in the rear view mirror

I have to think I'm at 120+ days since last post by now. RIDONCULOUS. We're alive, kicking, having fun, working hard and the days/weeks/months fly by, in case you, our one last reader, still even come to read about our adventures. We're on the verge of spring again, and while it hasn't been as awful winter as it was last year (weather wise in Wash DC, I mean) I don't know that I've EVER looked forward to spring as much as I am now, in 2011. Mostly b/c I'm a fall/winter colder weather gal and to think of packing away sweaters and jeans and all that stuff makes me a little sad. But between still lingering PTSD from last year's snowstorms and a FRIGID 2010-11 winter (with "just enough" precip) I'm ushering in spring among the most excited baseball/March Madness/St Patricks Day/Easter spring fans there might ever be, including ole Puxatawney Phil himself who set the tone for the accelerated arrival.
So that I can officially close out fall and winter 2010-11, here are the pictoral highlights with minimal explanations. 2 weeks early, I'll risk it. You can blame any massive March 2011 storms on me. And really, by now you know- minimal explanation is still a challenge.

Testing out my new camera downtown DC @ Monuments, trying to find some good ones for Christmas cards.

Thanksgiving trip to the ATL- soccer playing, Tgiving and nephew Parker's Baptism.

Christmastown (Busch Gardens) /Williamsburg VA in the pouring rain with the Richardsons-Escudero family. Such a fun time was had, as expected. What good company.

Hunting for, purchase and then decor of Christmas tree

Christmas shows at school(s). In 2nd pic, Logan is 5th from left. I know the hats make up a few inches, but having kids in this lineup makes me see, and be grateful that he isn't THE shortest kid in the class.

Birthday extravaganza. Party, Spidey cake made by MOM!!  and cool new ride from Graham grands.

Christmas Eve reading of "Twas the Night before Christmas." I'm having a much better time than I look- just winding down from high-energy evening of mass (yes, was quite the experience @ the kiddie mass) and cooking nice dinner. Gearing up for night ahead of "gift preparation/distribution."

At National Building Museum (12/26) Lego exhibit. One of them in particular is in his glory! (the one who looks the happiest)

Book buddy Woody during his overnight stay at our house. His activity du jour was alot of Wii playing. And dinner.

Our more significant storm of the year. Maybe 6 inches? Enough to use the sled and get outdoors with our best girls.

Squinty me (?) and Aus at 1/29 neighborhood dinner @ El Tio for our moving away neighbors/friends.
