July- over? Already?

Title of this update is a mixture of amazement and relief, all in one. While heat waves have no mercy when it comes to what month it is on the calendar, we're heartened by being one more "calendar flip" closer to autumn now. Talk of pre-season football games & training camps (and all related spectating fun) helps us muddle through. Finally, access to the pool through Logan's swim lessons and other community resources isn't too hard to find.

We're in "play with our neighbors" mode as of late- 5 babies under 18 months on the block and 4 of them are 8 months or less. Previous to L's arrival, while we enjoyed our Bridgehampton Ct. friendships, we needed a dog (really, to be out walking a dog) in order to be in the "in crowd" of all the neighbors who knew each other well. Logan has proven far better than the prospect of such canine (in SO many ways-need for diaper changing withstanding) Add a baby to two working professionals and whallah- you have notoriety as "you know...Logan's parents-what are their names again?" We've even had an envelope addressed to us as "Mr & Mrs. Logan's parents" from his My Gym class, someone giving us pictures of L. We'll take the fame- our names aren't important.

Here are some pictures from past weeks. One is from his 7/18 visit with Grandma and Granddad [Graham] , and a couple at snack/mealtime.
