First Trip to the Movies!!

When I think about all that we packed in last weekend, no wonder I'm exhausted and need another one ASAP. Which is good b/c this coming one has very little on the agenda- except maybe selling "Blue" officially. We'll see.

Anywhoooo....on Sunday, Logan had his first cinematic experience. We went to see the movie "Horton Hears a Who"- new Dr. Seuss movie that opened last weekend. We EVEN went into Georgetown to see it. How sheeshee. We wanted that ticket stub for the babybook and Chris is always dying to use "his" parking space in G'town (ie, @ his office) for something good like this. So we rounded ourselves up and were there for the 10:15 am show. When everyone else went to Palm Sunday church service, we headed to the movies. (We went to mass at 5p.)

Regardless of the time of day, we STILL had popcorn (how do you not, this being the first movie and all?) L wanted to stand for alot of the cartoons before the main show and then enjoyed the stadium seating chairs that flopped up and down before he finally sat. Not sure how he felt about the movie (we liked it!) but that was besides the point- he seemed to really be enthralled with the whole event. 90 mins show- good for the "first."

Either way, the popcorn got his 2 thumbs up. He ate every morsel, kept the bag in his own lap and when the bag was empty, was shaking it upside down to make sure he didn't miss anything. I wonder how many kernels he ate? Oops.
