May events

…and it’s only 6 days old! Pictures below, with related captions right beneath.

The “Day out with Thomas” event @ B&O Railroad Museum- Sat 5/1. With the exception of the front engine (Thomas) the train ride was a MARC train going backwards for 20 min through inner-city Baltimore, then forwards again to the station for 20 mins. I have to think the Island of Sodor is much more scenic.

Can’t believe he did it- he must have really wanted Gordon painted on his face- and who is to tell which blue train this really is? Could be Gordon, Edward, or Thomas himself. We’ll never know. Good thing it was free, and that he couldn’t really see it himself.

difficult mid-jump pic to stage. Tried many times.

Austin loved the toy displays- inside and outside of the roundhouse. One of his few words is choo-choo, choo-choo. No coincidence.

Today’s Mothers Day celebration at school- 4yr Ms Judy/Ms. Sanju’s class. Logan is front and center. Sang 4 songs, and each presented mom with many homemade art projects. Small tear shed (by me!)

The presentation of the gifts. Nice event, the teachers put alot of work and sweat into corralling 16 preschoolers into sitting together to sing and wear fun visors with “I love mom” on them, fake ties and art projects.

Tough week at work now 80% done (no pictures) – huge application upgrade/db conversion went through over last weekend, incredible week of user support/”triage” and patch testing. And I was so hoping weekend hours at work were a thing of the past. Maybe too much to wish for so quickly.

Until later… when we have some more May activities with pix. Promises to be a fun month and transition into equally busy and happy summer.
